What kind of car is the Mitsubishi Colt?

The Mitsubishi Colt has a similar supermini-MPV-style look to the original Honda Jazz in profile, and when the nose of the rally bred Lancer Evo was grafted on to the car in 2008, the styling was given a welcome shot in the arm. As the Colt is quite a rare sight on the road, it still stands out today.

Why does my Mitsubishi Colt rev up before reverse?

If he leaves the car for just a few days, when he gets in it, he selects the gear he wants, Auto, reverse etc, but he has to rev the car up to about 2000 revs before the actual gearbox bits which at this point the car shoots forward or reverse. Obviosuly, this could cause a problem if he was parked between to cars.

What’s the problem with the gearbox on a Mitsubishi Colt?

Gearbox oil changed. My Colt has the same issue,, intermittent and fine once it has changed gear 3/4 times. A bit hairy when it happens as the car can lurch forward when clutch eventually bites. Did anyone find out if it is the clutch etc?

Is the Mitsubishi Colt cz2 a good car?

The Colt brings plenty of kit in CZ2 spec, including air-con, alloys and cruise control, but the Colt feels small compared with more modern supermini rivals, with poor space for adults in the rear seats and a dinky boot. Should I buy one? That really depends on how much space you need, and how good the offer is.

Is the Mitsubishi Colt a good car to drive?

The ride still feels bouncy over anything other than the smoothest road surfaces, and the steering is short of the feedback necessary to allow the Colt to be considered a true warm hatch. It’s better on the motorway than most supermini rivals, though, with decent refinement and reasonably long gearing.
