Why is the ASC warning light on on my Outlander?
The ASC warning it seems is related to ASC issues which has separate control to the ABS it seems. We drove our Outlander for a whole year with the ASC warning light on with no adverse affects whatsoever other than the ASC was not operational of course, and 90% of cars on the road do not have ASC anyway.

How do you calibrate a Mitsubishi Outlander XL?
It has to calibrate the steering wheel zero point as well as G/Yaw sensors. The scan tool will have a simple calibration button once inside the ASC module; make sure the car is level and steering wheel is pointed straight ahead, then push the button to calibrate them.
