Why does my Silverado Tell Me the passenger door is open?
My 08 SIlverado has been periodicaly telling me when i put it in drive that the passenger door is open, when it’s not. I’ve tried alot of things but can’t fix the issue.

When does the open door message come on?
Passenger door open message has been coming on for several months (mainly when I hit bumps (which are everywhere in MS)). Then driver door open message started flashing periodically and interior lights would come on briefly then go out. I ordered a latch assembly for passenger side and it has not arrived yet.
