Can a new windscreen be installed without filaments?

On the R56, you can install a replacement windscreen without heating filaments even if the car originally came with filaments. I expect you could do the same on the F56. So if you come to a point where you *really* can’t stand them anymore, you could always shed some $$ on a new windscreen without filaments.
