What was the transmission problem on my 2004 Mercury Marquis?
New 2004 Mercury marquis. Had car for one day. Attempted to make a quick left turn by depressing accelerator to the floor. Motor started revving up but the car would not move. Let off gas and transmission engaged. After making the turn,stopped the car, still in drive, put the gas pedal to the floor.

The vehicle’s shifter jumped out of park and into reverse.

Dont have an answer but my 05 mercury doing it too I get the same codes when they check it I changed the number 1& 2 cylinder plugs and it says sumn bout either a throttle problem or intake problem.
