What does b1342 mean on an ABS module?
Using my Autel ML629 Scan Tool and checking the ABS module I get a B1342 Fault code saying possible issue with RAM/ROM in ECM.. I assume since I’m scanning the ABS module it means the fault is really with the ABS module not the Engine Control Module? I did look up through Autel to make sure this tool did ABS diag’ on Ford before having a go at it.

B1342 means there is a configuration error in the module you are scanning – in this case, since you selected ABS, the code is stored in your ABS module. This is important because the same code number means the same thing if it were stored in the PCM, instrument cluster, even the radio.
