Where do mice build nests in a car?
During the winter, mice love to get into cars and build nests in the ventilation system, usually in the blower fan.

Once the plastic cover is removed, you can see how the mice are getting into the blower fan. There is a water drain hose that goes down the side of your vehicle. They climb up that, and then down into the ventilation system through the air intake opening.

Mice really hate wire as it’s probably painful for them to chew on. May not keep them out of the cowl completely, but I’m down for anything.

Very close to the blower motor. To remove the debris I would probably be inclined to disassemble as much of the duct-work as I could and use a vacuum. Blowing it out will create a big mess. And yeah, don’t breath in the mouse dust.

Re: Mouse nest in the duct work – Questions! The only practical thing i can think of is removing your blower motor under the glove box and using an air hose attachment to blow out each duct on the inside. Most of the stuff should blow on the passenger floor where all the ducts go into the blower.

The fresh air fan was a bigger project. The front fender mount rails have many holes in them, these are where mice get into your front cowl as it drains down into them and then out to the ground.
