Is the C220 CDI a sat nav car?
I picked up my 62-plate C220 cdi coupe (AMG Sport trim) today. It has ‘sat nav prep’, but no sat nav. I wasn’t under the impression it had sat nav, so that’s ok. What does ‘sat nav prep’ mean though?! I do however, want to install sat nav so…what, where, how, etc? All in all though I’m chuffed to bits with the car. It looks pretty damn slick.
Do you need map pilot for Mercedes COMAND?
You should definitively consider Becker Map Pilot if you are looking to add GPS navigation to your existing Mercedes COMAND system. Keep in mind that you will need to spend a few minutes to get used to the Map Pilot system. Especially to the way that you are required to enter addresses.

Why is my Navi DVD not working on my Mercedes?

Can a Mercedes Nav be used on Waze?
Still get all the OEM functionality passed through (so can use the Mercedes NAV if I need to) but can use Waze etc and have the full online experience with its own sim card. Have you got the NAVI button on the unit and the pre-wiring for the becker unit. Some cars did not have this, so its best to check and not assume.
