Why is my power steering not working on my 1999 Mercedes?
Just a quick on I had a problem with my power steering on a 1999 A170 Benz, as describe in you problems and defect I found that the electronic of the pump got wet and ending in short circuiting the it, resulting in the power steering staying on all the time.
Is there a problem with the A140 power steering?
Bought a 1999 A140/W168 with 87k miles and a pretty complete SH yesterday and drove it home no problems. This morning my wife drove it to a site visit. Within a couple of miles the SRS light had come on and the power steering had failed.
