Click to expand… I have a 1999 V220 Ambiente with same problem, fan sometimes works and comes on over speed bumps. I have located the motor, visible behind left hand dash vent, but can’t get at it to remove. Even when working it’s not powerful so needs replacing or new brushes, just need to remove it.

My blower motor was fixed in with 3 posidrive screws. Had to use a stubby screwdriver on one of them too due to a serious lack of room. Check first before just pulling it out Rooty.

Why is my C230 Komp heater not working?
C230 Komp blower has been off and on since last year, and only working on 5 when it did. Worked fine over summer. Now that it is cold, it stopped for the most part. Read the threads here….pulled cover off from under passenger foot well and access the blower motor and wiring. Wiggled wires and checked connections and that did the trick.
