Where is the rear headrest release Fuse located?
The rear headrest release fuse is located in the front engine bay (drivers side closest to radiator), fuse #40, 7.5 (brown). Looks good. I think I’ll got the STAR route since those fuses are good. There maybe something else I’m missing. Thanks bro for the input.
What happens when you push the headrest in the rear?
According to the manual press the button and the headrest in the rear go down and up. What happens from the rear door switches? Nothing happens when I push it, I dont have the rear door switch option. Which fuses did you check? According to the fuse diagram that came with the car.
Why is the rear seat backrest stuck up?
Have you tried removing the rear seat backrest from it’s uphostered frame. One screw is behind the center armrest, and is difficult to reach. That would allow you to see ‘inside’ the backrest where the head restraint is housed. headrests up!!!! Went over a bump and the rear headrests/roll-overs went up.
What to do if your rear headrest is stuck?
Went over a bump and the rear headrests/roll-overs went up. The fix is ignition key in 2nd position, press dash button for up for 10-15 seconds until you hear a click and that’s it. You can now press the button for downwards.

How do you put the headrests up on a Mercedes Benz?
The manual seems to indicate they the head rests should come up on their own. –ROB– if your car has the power rear seat option, you should be able to put the outer rear headrests up and down electrically. The center one goes up manually, down electrically.
