P2008 is “Rail pressure sensor, fault code” per the code listed in the forum’s sticky. Perhaps you accidentally unplugged something during this process? Or broke one of the wires to a sensor?

Today my old W211 E220 CDi wont rev. above 3,000 RPM and shows code 2513-1 Check Component M55 (inlet port shutoff motor). I’m guessing the motor may be bunged up and stuck/sticking. Anyone any experience of this and am I right in the below sequence? 1. Engine Cover 2. Throttle Actuator 3. Charge Manifold 4.
