Is there a problem with my Vito heater?
The two hoses coming from the firewall (in and out of the heater radiator/circuit)are cold. Have started taking apart dash, which is standard, hoping to see if anything came of from the heater round control switch. Everything else is working fine. ML63 AMG & 2 350 SLK with AMG kit. Put the dash back theres nothing there to come apart.
What happens when you change the fuse on a heater blower?

Why is my C230 Komp heater not working?
C230 Komp blower has been off and on since last year, and only working on 5 when it did. Worked fine over summer. Now that it is cold, it stopped for the most part. Read the threads here….pulled cover off from under passenger foot well and access the blower motor and wiring. Wiggled wires and checked connections and that did the trick.

The Resistor Blocks tend to overheat and burn out resistors or the thermal fuse…. BUT when airflow reduces…. ALWAYS REPLACE the pollen filter…. moisture increases and the internal connectors on the resistors rust… clean them and resolder….. this is what normally causes intermittent operation.

My blower motor was fixed in with 3 posidrive screws. Had to use a stubby screwdriver on one of them too due to a serious lack of room. Check first before just pulling it out Rooty.

Where is the fan on a 1999 V220 Ambiente?
Click to expand… I have a 1999 V220 Ambiente with same problem, fan sometimes works and comes on over speed bumps. I have located the motor, visible behind left hand dash vent, but can’t get at it to remove. Even when working it’s not powerful so needs replacing or new brushes, just need to remove it.

Click to expand… This also had the effect of disabling the Air-con in speeds2-4 because the retro fit Erberspatcher AC kit has the clutch feed wired into the speed 1 circuit, so air con was only available in speed 1 with no fan!!! Click to expand… anyone have a photo of this?
Is the blower on my Mercedes Benz still working?
Both working great, which is a bit of a bummer as the old one seems fine. The blower is still only working on 4 as i assume that i will now need to replace or fix the resistor. I hope this helps someone.
Is the heater on my 2000 Vito 108 working?
My heater in my 2000 vito 108 has been on blink for a few weeks now slowing down and stopping and when I go over a bump coming back on. It has only worked on nos.1 & 4 over the last 3 years but I learned to live with it.
