When did the rust start on my Mercedes Benz?
Regarding the much talked about corrosion problems, I have read in a few sources that the rust problems supposedly only started in mid 1999 when Mercedes switched to water-based paint and that 1998 MY should be relatively corrosion-free. Any truth to that from your experience?
