How to manually unlock the trunk of a Mercedes-Benz
- Remove the metal key from the key fob. You will need to slide the locking tab with your thumb and pull out the metal key.
- Insert the key into the trunk lock cylinder.
- Turn the key until you hear the trunk pop open.

How to reset the power liftgate on a Mercedes ML350?
Hallelujah! 🙂 Reconnect the connectors and now make sure the tailgate is pushed up all the way, turn on the ignition but don’t start the engine, and pull and hold the tailgate switch on the driver’s door in the open position for about 5 seconds. Did that. It did not go down. Out of luck?
