If air was leaking in, fuel leaking out, wouldn’t that be more likely to have happened during that 4 days, monday-thursday and prevented starting on Friday?

To release the connections, just squeeze the white clip IN, this causes the jaws of the fitting to expand and allow you to pull out the connection (whilst still squeezing the clip). ps…………check for leaks from any of the 3 ‘caps’ of the high pressure pump as they have been known to leak fuel which will also cause air to enter the system.
