Is the Vito van 110 CDI x reg central locking?
My vito van 110 cdi x reg central locking s driving me mad. the front doors seem ok but the rears are never in sync, the drivers side side door is the worst. quite often I can’t lock the van. I can hear the van locking then unlocking, it is driving me mad help please
Why is the right door on my Viano not working?
As for my Viano, the right door is still playing up. It’s favourite fault is to physically close correctly but then the cluster says it’s still open the interior lights won’t go off, and of course I can’t centrally lock or set the alarm. However, if I open then close the door again, it seems to be fine.

2006 Vito 109 compact. When my w639 had locking issues the first time it was down to the sliding door contactors, I repaired them but the fault soon reappeared, so I replaced both sides (contacts and pins for both doors). This was fine for 12 months or more before I started getting it again.
Are there any mechanical problems with the Vito?
Sorry but Vito’s where good new but very much show their Spanish build qulaity later in life.. Click to expand… Mines done over 185.000km. No rust (and it’s been through the tropics). No mechanical problems. some dicky electronics (fog lamp switches and erratic alternator dashboard light after 8 years + an faded odometer light ).

Where is the lock plug on a Vito?
There is a plug that goes to the locking mechanism on each lock. On the rear mine has a black wire and a (red and white). You can test it by putting a wire across the two terminals in the plug as that would be the same as the switch being pressed.

To fix it, I tried cleaning contacts on the door but that didn’t do anything as that is not the problem. In all the actually locking mechanisms there are little switches which tell the van that a door is closed. As the door grabs the metal hooks, it presses the switch.
How to unlock the Vito lock central lock?
Put key in ignition use dash control to un lock doors then take key out fob will un lock and look doors for about 4 to 5 times then stop working. Spare key will not work at all only when interred in ignition will the spare key work for a few times then stop. Im at a loss. Just fixed Hi Im new to the mercedes world and it my first post….
