Why does my Merc Vito 108 CDI not start?

Have a x reg merc vito 108 cdi in today which cut out and wont restart.Code read and had low fuel rail pressure. Checked for injector leak off and all seem ok.Replaced the o rings on the end of the fuel rail and still no joy. Have now replaced the high pressure fuel pump but still the van will not run.

Viano 639, 651 5sp Auto. Typical of the CPS is to cut the engine when warm and enabling restart when cooled, for a while. I’m not saying it isn’t that though. Air in the fuel lines is another possible, but I wouldn’t be expecting that on an 05 and certainly unlikely after a 10 minute stop.
