Is the low beam still working but high beams are not?
Low beams still out, but high beams work. Based on questions on line, this seems to be a problem that happens with Mercedes. What do I check next to correct the problem?

When it burns out it will stop suppling power to whatever lights it wants to. Multimeter the socket, no power replace the relay/check fuses of course. Suggest junk yard new they are about 200. The headlights on my 88 260E would turn OFF when I switched from high beams to low beams. Very unsettling the first time it happened.
Can you drive with only high beams on?
Not practical to drive at night with just high beams. The closest dealer is 90 miles away. Both low beams went out at night on the road. I discovered later that the high beams work. I checked fuses. No problem. I bought and installed bulbs in each light one at a time and tried the lights. Low beams still out, but high beams work.

2. My HID Bi-Xenon high beams or low beams are not working or are inverted. This is a similar issue as above, the polarity of the connector’s pins are not correctly aligned. Bi-Xenon HID kits have 3 pins on the harness connector for ground, low beam and high beam connections.

If I fiddled with the beam change lever the lows would come on so I knew the problem was the steering column switch. I bought a new one and all ws well again.
Where is the low beam on a Ford Escape?
The passenger (RH) low beam 12v feed wire is on pin 1, blue and green striped. LH low beam is on pin 2, brown and blue striped. From your photo I believe you are on the correct connector and yes, looking at the pins on the BCM that is top right as in your picture.
