Why does the engine fan run all the time?
The sensor shown in the diagram is for air conditioning. The sensor we need to find is actually a temperature switch somewhere in the cooling system and may have failed safe in the closed position causing the fan to run all the time. what abut if i connect the car to the OBD II? i can bay one if that can tell me the problem within my car?
Is the radiator fan in a Mercedes overheating?
Its as if the fan is running full blast like the car thinks its overheating however the engine cannot be overheating as it happens immediately upon startup. I’ve checked the water level and it’s fine no other problems an engine runs fine.

The fan continues to run at its maxiumum speed, regardless of the engine temperature. I allowed the car to run today from cold to just above 80 deg. C before sutting it off today.

Is the engine fan always running on a 2012 ProStar?
Currently driving a 2012 Prostar with the Maxx force engine. So far so good despite what I’ve heard about the engine. My issue is I’ve noticed the engine fan always seems to be running. I’m not sure it’s even an issue as I have yet to see the temp go up over 180 even pulling heavy up hills.
