When did my Vito 110cdi engine cut out?
I have a UK Vito 110cdi registered in 2000, with 125000 recorded miles. On a few occasions recently the engine has cut out while I’ve been driving, and the EDC light has come on.
Why is the EDC light on on my Vito?

My Vito is atypical of the reputation that MB Vans have in this country – and they’re regarded as now intruding right into the japanese/korean small van market. They have the highest repeat customer base and dominate fleet buyers such as Police, Ambulances etc…
Are there any mechanical problems with the Vito?
Sorry but Vito’s where good new but very much show their Spanish build qulaity later in life.. Click to expand… Mines done over 185.000km. No rust (and it’s been through the tropics). No mechanical problems. some dicky electronics (fog lamp switches and erratic alternator dashboard light after 8 years + an faded odometer light ).
Why does my Vito CDI 110 2000 shut off?
Hi My Vito CDI 110 2000 has Shut off Fault Code, Boost Pressure Code. 7.5a ECU Fuse causes grey smoke rough running when inserted. Merc Star Can not communicate with the CDI. Van starts and runs ok without the 7.5a fuse but in limp mode. Help.

Why is the EDC light always on in my Vito?
