How to remove hydraulic cylinder from Mercedes SLK 230?
Removing the headliner accesses this cylinder. Using a trunk cylinder for demonstration purposes, removal begins by opening the trunk with the Vario roof switch, then turning off the ignition to depressurize the hydraulic system. The retaining clip (red arrow) is pulled off the cylinder’s body end; we used a flat blade screwdriver.
