Why do the ABS warning lights come on so often?
I seem to have developed a problem where the ABS and ESP warning lights come on fairly regularly. At first there didn’t appear to be any reason for it but as time has passed I found that I can force the fault while the car is stationary – so probably not a wheel sensor.

Re: ESP light is on… Its the “ESP Off” warning, same as if you had manually switched it off. Funnily enough the ESP off switch ceases to work after the warning comes on. Re: ESP light is on… Given it happens going around roundabouts my money is now on a loose connector on one of wheel sensors, but it could be the stop light switch of course.
