Why is the central locking on my SL500 not working?
I have an 02 SL500 – the central locking has stopped working, think it might have been because got damp in boot – now dried out but still nothing, ( fuse blew twice, now fuse o.k – still no central locking). Had B service last week – Comand now just blank screen so nothing working there, though the fuse is o.k, and the roof won’t open/close.
Are there any common problems with a 2004 SL500?

If the fuse does not do it, take a picture of the unit and mark and number all the lines going to the unit. Open the Unit and see if the motor is burnt. (won’t turn) Look into the back of the motor with a light. If it looks burnt, you’ll need to remove it.
