When did the cel come on on my Mercedes GLK 250?
In August 2017, the CEL came on (Code P2002) and I took it in. They ended up replacing a particulate filter which from what I understand is like a catalytic converter for a diesel and sent me on my way. Fast forward, June 2018, CEL comes back on with the same code.
What is the odometer on a 2014 Mercedes glk250?
I bought the 2014 GLK250 used and the dealer repair history showed there was a repair for the NOx sensors. After reading this thread, I assumed the issue was fixed according to Mercedes Warranty repair. The odometer was around 10,000mi.

The emissions system warranty is supposed to be for 8 years, but many emission parts are only covered for 2 years. We own a 2014 GLK250 and have not had any emissions problems. Only done 50k km though. I am however concerned because I noticed that for the first three annual services, the dealer used 5W40 MBspec229.5 oil.

Once again within 5,000 miles I have experienced the NOx CEL light. Dealer recommended Shell and BP Diesel only – I did that. Now the dealer recommends only MB OEM Blue DEF rationalizing that the rear sensor was contaminated by the “Peak” Brand Aftermarket Blue DEF. Sounds Like a brush-off. Any other takers?

What was the odometer on my GLK 250?
The odometer was around 10,000mi. I next encountered an issue at around 17,000 mi with a trip to the dealer to fix both NOx sensors and get me on the road. Well, this morning I am back at my dealer with 35,000 miles and first the CEL came on with a P229F, and 20 miles later, the AdBlue Indicator came up in the cluster indicating low DEF.
