Can you close the sunroof on a Mercedes GLA?
Apparently on the GLA they didn’t build in a manual override to close the sunroof but other cars have that as an option. My car has been in service for most of the days that I have owned it.
What to do if the sunroof does not work?
NOTE: If at any point during the following procedure the sunroof does not respond as expected, restart the procedure at Step 1. 1) Depress and hold the CLOSE push button of the sunroof switch until the sliding glass panel is fully closed. 2) Continue to hold the CLOSE push button of the sunroof switch.
What are the issues with the Mercedes GLA250?
Other 2016 GLA250 Issues: Collision Prevention Sensor going off periodically due to interference. Mercedes said “Yeah lots of people are having the same issue.” I just hope the car doesn’t come to a grinding halt in the middle of the freeway.
Is there a problem with the sun roof calibration?
Once the sunroof stops moving the calibration is complete. If you are still having issues, you could possibly have a sensor that has died. When I close the sunroof from the Vent positions it seems to be higher along the rear edges than when I close the sunroof from any Open position.
Can a GLA sunroof be closed while driving?

How did the panoramic sunroof break on my Mercedes?
Driving on the freeway and opened the moonroof and heard a CLUNK. roof was fully extended up, it was only held in by the metal pin loose in the rail. Good thing that metal pin is wider than the rail, or else my entire panoramic roof would have flown up and over the car from the wind force.
