No reliability at all. Once I went to Mazda garage to be checked, they said it was a common fault for 2.0 petrol to broken pistons and camshafts. It was lovely to be driven, when it was still not broken down. MPG was quite alright for the power and the engine performance which was quite decent.

Is the Mazda6 air conditioning a good thing?
The Air Conditioning is the only good thing about it. Had the Mazda6 for 5 months now, its been ok. Nice to drive and very comfortable. There is a big problem with the paintwork. My car is Soul Red Crystal Metallic.

Regular maintenance, new tires, no problems. The one thing that I could say is that the headliner could have been better made. It has some issues. Of course, the airbag issue. The alternator has never worked properly. The lights dim and brighten fairly often. The fabric is coming off of the ceiling.

Apparently it conforms to Euro 6 emissions, whatever the Hell that is, and he doesn’t give a flying flea about the current downer that the car buying public seem to have on diesels. My worry is that for political reasons there will be further sanctions levied on the drivers of diesels to include even the newest and least polluting examples.
