Where is the door sensor on a mazda3?
The door sensor is on the hinge located in the door. Also can’t figure out which one it is. If you turn off the interior light it shouldn’t affect you battery. The sensor goes off with or without the key in it.
Why is my Mazda 3 door not open?

I believe it is a part of the auto locking where if you don’t open it right after pressing the button (within 1.5 seconds) it locks the latch but keeps it slightly raised (open to the sensor). If you look at the panel lines above the tail lights, you’ll see it isn’t fully shut.

Hey guys, I’m having a problem with my 2010 mazda3 hatchback. While driving, occasionally the “door ajar” light turns randomly on and off and according to the display, the faulty door is the front passenger door. My question is where in the door can the problem lie?

Why is the trunk light on in my Mazda 3 GT?
I have a 2010 Mazda 3 GT, and sometimes my trunk releases it’s self as if someone hit the button. Sometimes it doesn’t work at all, and i have to crawl in the back and manually open the trunk. Once it opens it’s self it starts going crazy and constantly the solenoid activates its self.
