I can never sleep with a closed door and anyway it helps air to circulate. Now i keep them open as we have central heating throughout the house. But when we were reliant on the coal fire in the lounge, we kept the lounge door closed so we had one warm room. Close door to keep a room warm, open to let heat circulate.
