How can I tell if my car battery is draining?

Can’t you use a cheap multimeter and check the voltage of the battery before it’s hooked up to the car. Then when you hook it up, check the voltage. If there’s a voltage drop then isn’t there something draining? I believe my battery stays at like 12.7V or something around there according to my scan tool.

Hey Prototype99, thanks for for the idea, not the issue though…I actually unplugged the harness completely from the head unit, and the drain continued. It did have a very very small parasitic drain on the battery, but by no means enough to drain the battery.
