Why is my u0101 code not working?
If you can access codes from the TCM module, then the U0101 code is either intermittent or a memory code. If unable to talk to the TCM module, then the U0101 code that the other modules are setting is active, and the problem is there now. The most common failure is loss of power or ground.
Is there an AAMCO error code for u0101?
But AAMCO did not diagnose the U0101 TCM error even though the code was there and not 5 miles after picking it up, the lights all came back on, and the car went into “limp mode” again for safety. That leads me to believe the original transmission was not even the issue at all. Who knows?
Is there an issue with my Mazda 3?
Welp I knew it was coming as I read about it before. Happened to my wife today while she was out. Car jerked when shifting into reverse and drive. Would rev up and slowly take off.
What makes the TCM go out on a Mazda3?
It shows U0101 which is ” failed to communicate with TCM ” I took off the TCM which resides underneath the battery tray and attached to the transmission. Pins look clean and so does the connector. Apparently these heat up plus the added heat of transmission makes them go out.

What’s the code for Mazda 3 at light always on?
3. Reset the ECU, start the car in neutral. Code still there, AT light always on. The second time i put the car in reverse, it made another big clunk so I avoid putting it into reverse now. I towed the car to a nearby Mazda dealership and there it waits for a $98 diagnostic.
