What kind of engine does GMC Acadia have?
The 2012 GMC Acadia’s 288-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6 engine offers good acceleration, but with a full load on board, it could do with a bit more power. If there was one major gripe regarding our time in the Acadia, it pertained to the high beltline that limits rearward visibility and makes parking maneuvers more difficult.
What kind of interior does GMC Acadia have?
Inside the spacious cabin, the 2012 Acadia has an attractive layout, with a two-tone color scheme highlighted by accents of chrome trim (the Denali also includes wood-grain accents). Unfortunately, this trim is prone to reflect the sun into the eyes of the driver and front-seat passenger.
How many people can fit in a GMC Acadia?
With seating for up to eight people, including a third-row seat that can accommodate two adults, the 2012 GMC Acadia SUV is about as people friendly as a standard-size vehicle can get. A clever sliding second-row seat permits easy access to the third row, as do its long rear door openings.

Which is the top of the line GMC Acadia?
The top-of-the-line Acadia Denali trim comes standard with hill-hold assist. The mid-grade Acadia SLT and Acadia Denali trim levels gain an integrated side blind spot mirror. All GMC Acadias get fog lamps and body colored side moldings.
When did I buy a GMC Acadia minivan?
We purchased out Acadia in June of this year. I’d had a Honda Pilot for 5 years, and while I really liked it, I wanted bucket seats in the second row and third row seating that was more easily accessible and was comfortable for adults-basically a minivan interior for seating without looking like a “mom-mobile” on the outside.
Is the Acadia SLT-2 AWD or AWD?
2012 Acadia SLT-2 AWD (Love it!) Pretty much every option besides the rear DVD system. Been driving this vehicle for just over 2 years. I’ll have to say, it’s the best riding vehicle that I’ve ever owned. Haven’t had any mechanical issues with the vehicle, and I’m over 38,000 miles.
