What kind of brake pedal goes to the floor?
I have a soft brake pedal that goes to the floor on my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. Just changed master cylinder and brake booster and bled through a large bottle of fluid any ideas?

If the backside of the tire is wet with fluid either you have a brake caliper that is leaking and must be replaced or a wheel cylinder that has gone bad and needs replacing. Both of these problems allow a fluid leak through their brake fluid seals.

You might want to try to bleed the system again using another person to help you. Also, if you did NOT bench bleed the master cylinder you will probably never get the air out of it.

If the vehicle has ABS, here’s the bleeding procedure when the brake master cylinder is replaced. When using pressure equipment, use a special tool to depress the metering plunger on the combination valve. Gravity and vacuum bleeding are not recommended for this system.
Can a truck stop with a brake fluid leak?
I can still stop. i looked all around the truck for leaks from brake fluid there is none and the brake resiviour (sorry for the spelling) is still full. PLease help and shoot me some ideas on what could be happening thanks.
