Why does my GMC Acadia say service all wheel drive?
Last week my 08 Acadia with 48,000 miles started giving the “service all-wheel drive” message. Took it to the dealer. After a couple of hours it was decided that a new all-wheel drive module was required ($700). Luckily, it was not in stock.

FWith the vehicle parked, push down the lever or use the power control on the left side of the steering column to adjust the steering wheel. The steering wheel can be moved up or down and in or out. It appears you need the GM scan tool (I forget the name) to be able to read it. happy29, you gotta take it in and leave it for them to diagnose and repair a ‘cold’ problem. Talk to your dealer or GM CS to get a loaner while your vehicle is there. Insist they get it fixed!! But you must leave it for them.
Is the traction control off on my Acadia?

2012 Acadia SLT-2 AWD (Love it!) Pretty much every option besides the rear DVD system. Been driving this vehicle for just over 2 years. I’ll have to say, it’s the best riding vehicle that I’ve ever owned. Haven’t had any mechanical issues with the vehicle, and I’m over 38,000 miles.
