Why is my premiere not working?

Is there a way to fix a backlight on a monitor?
When i replaced it, the monitor stayed on, but the backlight would flicker on and off, then finally shut off after a few seconds.. The panel was good, but trying to fix the backlight with the proper parts wasn’t really worth it. But maybe I could still save it, or even make it better. After all, it’s just a light.
