What does TRAC off mean in my Lexus?

If both front wheels get stuck in fresh snow or mud, you may need to turn off both Traction Control (also know as TRAC) and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) so you can rock the vehicle to free it. To turn TRAC off, simply push and release the VSC OFF button. The “TRAC OFF” indicator light should come on.

Would up eventually the transmission failed without warning got stuck in park and had to replace the transmission twice. Now on my 3rd one with 126k miles the engine light is back on and the trac off sign is engaged.

Autozone diagnosed Coil # 3 misfire. Lexus dealership wants to charge$750. They have had my car for 5 days. They said they swapped new coil and fuel injector but still not fixed so they are going to have to tear down the whole engine!!! It only has 82,000 miles on it. I am ready to cry!
