My 2002 LX 470 was having problem of not able to adjust the control height to normal or high and just staying in the low position making the ride so bumpy. Read some articles about it and they mentioned about the height sensors to be the culprit. One sensor is too expensive that I decided to open and clean the inside first and see if it works.

On the front inner wings open one plug from the hight sensor wire to the wiring harness. Use your new harness to join the two ends up. With the ignition on read the voltage between terminals 2 & 3. Or 2 and ground. Record the reading. Remove the harness and reconnect the plug. Do the same for the other side.
