So if it ever happens again, I would check loose fuses, connectors of the module. You had the car with a new battery and these functions worked for a while and do not work now If I understood it correctly.

Why are my windows on my 98 wagon not working?
I looked for the name of this computer and found that it is called a K40 and it is located under a plastic panel under the hood on a 98 wagon. I checked fuses on it and repluged all of the wires on this module and now all the windows and mirrors work. The most likely culprit for all 4 windows is the center switch unit in the center console.
