When is a fuel injector not a batch fire?
It’s not a batch fire setup except when cold starting and under acceleration enrichment. The DSM ECU uses sequential firing of the injectors most of the time, we have injector drivers for each injector. It’s not a batch fire setup except when cold starting and under acceleration enrichment. Click to expand… Ah yes, you’re right.
Is there a problem with the number 2 injector?
Now, since it’s only the number 2 injector, it shouldn’t be the injector driver in the ecu. Look at wiring diagrams again and trace the injectors back to the ecu, checking for voltage just like you did before. Most likely you have an open somewhere. found the problem, the wire from the #2 harness to like where the CAS looked a little brittle.
What causes no power to fuel injectors?
The most important signals that determine the accuracy of a signal coming out of ECU to injectors are crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor, so to test a bad injector, you have to check the voltage on the injector when the ignition key is turned on: NO VOLTAGE? , so what causes no power to fuel injectors?
What causes no injector pulse when engine is craking?
When these fuses blow, the system they support stops working, and the engine stops running. As a result, there is no injector pulse while craking.

Why is my fuel injector # 2 cylinder not getting fuel?
No Pulse I hooked a stethoscope to the injector #2 and it has no pulse. All the injectors are ticking perfectly fine. I switched injectors to stock and have 8 set of these injectors and no matter which injector I use, the #2 cylinder isnt getting fuel. The engine studders and has terrible rough idle at like 550rpm.

How to ensure fuel injectors are receiving the correct range?
Step 1: Turn the car on. Turn the key to the second (ON) position for this test. You want battery power flowing, but don’t want the engine running. Step 2: Set up DVOM to measure DC voltage. Use the lowest range possible if the meter doesn’t auto range.
