Why do the headlights dim when I accelerate?
2004 Ford Focus ZX3. Manual Transmission. Alternator replaced 1-2 years ago for different symptoms/issue. My problem is that the headlights dim or flash (pulse down to very very dim then back to full) when accelerating or decelerating. Pretty much only when in gear.
Why do the headlights draw so much power?
Headlights draw quite a bit of power in relation to the other lights, but not as much as the starter motor. Since you are not complaining about starting problems, I don’t think you have a battery or alternator problem. I think you need to be certain that there is a good connection between the engine block and the body of the car.
Why does my Head Light keep blowing out?

This includes bug spray, other oils, toothpaste, cutting/buffing polish, etc. The headlights are coated in a UV protective layer in the factory. This is a specialized solution that absorbs into the polycarbonate surface in combination with heat treatment. It is not a clear coat.

What causes a headlight bulb to burn out quickly?
Don’t handle the bulb with your bare fingers. Oils can cause bulbs to burn out quickly. Handle all headlight bulbs with surgical gloves and replace any existing bulbs that may have been handled incorrectly. The problem could be in your installation process.
What to do if both low beam headlights are dead?
If you don’t have a way to test the low beam circuit (you can probably see a missing/blown filiment) bulbs for continuity do you buy a switch for $$ which will be hard to change & you usually can’t return if its not the problem OR do you buy one bulb and swap it which is cheap & easy ?
What should I do if my headlight keeps blowing out?
During the installation process, always ensure that the electrical connectors that emanate from the power source have been well joined within the metal connectors to the headlight bulbs, the alternator on the other hand should be monitored to ensure there is no overcharging of the battery.
