Why is my Kia Sorento making a knocking noise?
Caused antifreeze leak. Bought certified pre-owned, dealer refuses to help us with this. $7,000 new motor needed. 2015, 102,000 miles, $19,000 owed on car. Engine started making a knocking noise upon acceleration and at initial startup. Engine has only 53,000 miles on it.
Why are my Kia Sorento timing belts not working?
Found out only because engine light came on and problems accelerated on highway as well as hearing knocking noise. Very long story short and week later without car, found out some parts were sucked into engine. So now dealor calling a Kia rep to find out if they will replace WHOLE motor and if under warranty. Remind you car only 3 yrs old.
