Beverly, Kia does not recommend flat towing the Rio AWD. In an emergency case Kia suggest placing the trans in neutral and towing no more than 19 miles and to keep speed below 30 mph. Any long distance towing is to be done with a flatbed to prevent drivetrain damage.
