2011 Kia Sorento. About Audio. Suddenly no more sound, however the display worked, Bluetooth connection as well. As advised here above, I checked the fuses, and disconnected the battery for 2m. After this everything worked back perfectly.

Where is the 15A fuse on a Kia Sorento?

As another person mentioned already, the 15A “module” fuse on the inside fuse panel (right by your left knee as you’re driving) was the source of this problem on my 2013 Sorento LX UVO head unit. I pulled it out and it tested fine. When I reinserted the fuse, the head unit power returned.

Is there a sound when you crank the Sorento?

2016 sorento wont crank, no click or any sound when key is turned. All electrical components work inside the cabin and had the battery tested it is good. Tried cranking with it in neutral and still nothing.

What was the problem with my Kia Sorento?

2007 Kia Sportage EX – battery was jumped with reverse polarity and radio quit found fuse in passenger compartment panel blown (10A, marked “AV”, bottom center of panel) radio then functioned normally 😉 15 people found this helpful. I had the same thing happen on my 2012 kia Sportage. Uvo radio with backup camera. No sound from the radio first. Then the radio wouldn’t hold presets and time. Checked fuses, disconnecting the batterty and tried reset button. Nothing worked. Dealer said radio needed replaced. Put in a used radio. Everything works on it but the sound.
