Is the traction control light on or blinking?
Hi, after each service my car has more lights turning on. In short – right now traction control light is on, “stabilizer” light is on, engine light is on or blinking when pressed on gas, car is shaking and losing power.
Why did my check engine light, and my traction control?
Same problem on 2013 Corolla. Tightened gas cap, removed positive battery terminal for 30 seconds, reconnected and voila. fixed. Thanks folks. 46 people found this helpful.
Why does my Trac light come on automatically?
(Btw, I read that the trac light comes on automatically when the chk engine light does because that feature disables with any engine issue sensed) Dealership found no reason and light fo off after enough regular cycles. Now I want to sell my car and wish I didn’t have this concern.
What does reduced engine power and check engine light mean?
This worked for some time. Then my traction light would come on and reduced engine power and check engine light would come on. I could pull over shut off my vehicle and turn it back on and the traction light was off and it would run fine. The check engine light would go off shortly after.

What’s the Check Engine light, brake light flashing?
Check Engine light, Traction Control light went solid-on, and emergency brake light and cruise control indicator started flashing. Haven’t tried replacing gas cap, but will be taking to dealer soon. With all the changes I’m glad I got the 09 Outback. I got to drive the 2011 with all the bells and whistles.

I checked the oil and there was more than adequate in it, and there has been no oil light showing, however I topped it up in case and I let the car run for about 10 minutes but the engine management light either flashes or remains lit in amber color as well as the traction control light. It’s a 1.6 Petrol 115. Any ideas?
