What if you only do 2-3000 miles a year. When then to change cam belt? After 6 years for the Picanto, the handbook says 60000 miles or 6 years. I believe the material deteriorates over time. Yes they’re not wrong there.

I just got the Timing belt and Water pump replaced on my Picanto 1.1, overall cost was £180 at my local (non dealer) garage.
