Why does my Kia Sportage make a clicking sound?
Sway bar link was loose. Had clicking sound when riding on bumps. Also had a vibration coming from the rear of the vehicle, although I’m not sure if it was caused by the sway bar link. Rear right wheel bearing starting to vibrate occasionally when driving 50+ mph. Also, that wheel was hot after driving for awhile.
What to do about a Kia Sportage suspension problem?
Replace left front wheel bearing $342. Replaced right front wheel bearing under their warrantee no charge. When driving over bumps a knocking sound could be heard coming from the drivers side. The following items were replaced: Front Struts (Left & Right) Ball Joints.
What should I do if I hear a thumping noise on my brakes?
Do this three to five times, while keeping a steady speed; the noise should disappear, or at least be 90% gone. Then drive the car at normal speeds and use the brakes the way you normally would. If the noise has not changed, you may have a different thumping noise than what I have described here in this article.
