I’m new to the 6.6 with my 2017 Silverado 2500. This DEF nonsense is new to me. How much will/does it consume? Anyone give me a rough idea? The dash only shows if levels are ok, or not. Thanks. Why is Def fluid consumption so low on Silverado Sierra?
It’s a faulty design from the drawing board, and only furthers the problem it tries to avoid. Short term, they work great, at least to cut emissions. However, you are in the statistical low side if you have a high-mileage modern diesel with a DEF system that is problem-free.
