Why does my front room floor feel like it is vibrating?
The front room floor does feel like its vibrating but perhaps the noise I am hearing gives the suggestion of vibration (sounds like a bus engine idling in distance or the throb of engine when you are on a ferry but very low level). By any chance is there a ventilation fan in the attic; typically they automatically cycle on/off depending on temperature and humidity. The one I’m familiar with creates a constant vibration when turned on, but perhaps yours just at start up. Sometimes central a/c systems buzz briefly when cycling on/off.
