When the vehicle rear ended me that is when the brakes released.I had the vehicle towed to the dealership where I purchased it from. Since then the dealership has inspected it per Kia’s instruction and Kia sent an engineer out on June 7th to retrieve the date from the edr.

Where is the non return valve on a Kia Sportage?
I’ve just fixed this issue on my Sportage (2014 KX3 Sat-Nav). The non-return valve can be accessed by removing the plastic cowling covering the rear brake light at the top of the rear window. Just hook your finger tips around the edge by the brakelight and pull.
Why is my rear washer not working on my Kia?
