Do you need a wired remote for Pac SWI-RC?
The aftermarket radio MUST be equipped with a wired remote input (3.5mm headphone style jack or Blue/Yellow wire) to be compatible (ex. a port or wire on the back of the radio labeled W/R, REM, Wired Remote, Remote, Rem Cont etc.). If the radio does not have a wired remote input then you will need to use the SWI-X.
Do you need SWI-X for Kenwood radio?
If the radio does not have a wired remote input, you will need to use the SWI-X. Not compatible with Kenwood models: KDC-X598, KDC-BT318U, KDCBT-758-HD, KDCBT-558U & KDC-X798.

How long is the USB cable for a Kia Forte?
Take your standard USB cable you had lying around the house and cut off one end of it. You can make it as long or short as you want, but you probably don’t need more than 1 or 2 feet. On both cables, remove a few inches of the outer cable case to expose the 4 wires inside each cable.

Do you need a SWC adapter for a stereo?
Even when the stereo wiring harness doesn’t have a connection built in, we have other adapters for some vehicles that will still let you plug in your SWC adapter. These extra harnesses are usually inexpensive and make the installation much simpler. Our advisors can let you know if one of these situations applies to your vehicle.
